Our special thanks to all Nnewi and Non Nnewi indigenes that were in attendance, especially to our hosting chapter Nnewi USA New York chapter for their great hospitality to us. Your service to us was very special, and we sincerely thank you for that.

Our profound gratitude to our keynote speaker Chief Dr. Dozie Ikedife (Ikenga Nnewi), and guest speaker Professor kingsley Chiedu Moghalu (Ozurumba Uwanine).

We are very grateful to our guests who travelled all the way from Nigeria to grace this occasion. Barrister Obianefo Orizu (Crown prince of Nnewi), Rt. Hon. Chukwudi Orizu, Mr. Azuka Ofomata, Mrs. Caroline Ofomata (Ugo Diya) Mrs. Nkiru Ifediora.


1. Consummated the building project of Nnewi community library facilitated by Nusa already in progress.

2. Agreed that our official medium of public communications will be via the newly established Nnewi USA forum only.

3. Chapter presidents mandated to obtain their members E-mail information’s and forward then to the site moderator Nathan Momah for inclusion in the Nnewi USA forum.

4. Agreed to possibly handle the process of constitutional amendments as proposed by the committee via executive/delegates teleconference meeting.

5. That the 21st Nusa national convention will be held in Atlanta Georgia next year.

6. Chidi Metu(president) and Ethel Momah will double their efforts to reach donors with outstanding pledges and encourage then to redeem them.

7. The healthcare team panel set up to explore and make formal recommendation on how Nusa can improve the health of our people to complete the assignment by the next convention.

8. Benefit package to members was a concern to many in attendance, and the consensus was to further explore various options.

9. Nusa to make all possible effort to get our youths actively involved in its affairs, and prepare them to take over the mantle.
